The Cid Costume is an armor set that consists of the Cid's Head, Cid's Top, and Cid's Bottoms. It can be obtained from the Cid's Outfit Bag with a 100% chance.

Equipping the full set increases damage against Machine types by 15%.

Additionally, while wearing a full set hover over an enemy and press Ability (see controls) to scan that ememy. Scanning the enemy will reveal their weakness and resistances according to the Elemental System. This ability is the same effect as the Scan spell. This ability can only be used once every 3 seconds.
