The Egg Cannon is a Pre-Hardmode Ranged weapon with a 50% (1 in 2) chance to be dropped by Lepus.

Contrarily to the original mobile version, the Egg Cannon in Consolaria does not use any type of ammunition. It fires eggs that look similar to the Suspicious Looking Egg, are slightly impacted by gravity and have a chance to spawn a Bunny or Bird on impact. Specifically, it has the following chances of spawning various critters:

• Bunny: 0.5% (1/200)
• Bird: 0.5% (1/200)
• Corrupt Bunny or Vicious Bunny: 0.3333% (1/300), depending on world evil
• Explosive Bunny: 0.1667% (1/600)

Each of these spawns happens independently, so there is a possibility for several critters hatching from the same egg.

Trivia

• If the player uses the developer's name "has2r", the chance of spawning an explosive bunny is increased to 2% (1/50).
