The Nugget License is a consumable item that can be purchased from the Oracle for 110 after filling out 32% (120) vanilla and 36% (130) Calamity Bestiary entries, or by defeating The Dragonfolly. Using it allows a Town Nugget to move into town the next morning.
Notes
- Just like any other NPC, the Town Nugget requires valid housing with proper size, background walls, a table, a chair, and a light source. However, it can share a house already occupied by another NPC, although not with another town pet.
- Due to the high Bestiary completion requirement, it is generally not possible to acquire a Nugget License in pre-Hardmode.
- Despite being a consumable, you keep the Nugget License even after it's used. Using it a second time while a town nugget is alive gives you the status message "There's not enough space for a rebirth in <name of world>!".
- This means it is impossible to swap out a nugget without euthanizing the poor creature.
