The Dragon Claw is a pre-Hardmode melee weapon dropped by Drakon with a 1/4 (25%) / 1/3 (33.33%). It has a short range, but an exceptionally low use time (in other words, an exceptionally high attack speed).
Its best modifier is Legendary.
Tips
- The Dragon Claw can be considered a precursor to the Fetid Baghnakhs considering the similar exceptional speed and short range.
- Unlike the Fetid Baghnakhs, the Dragon Claw does not suffer from a reduced effectiveness of melee speed bonuses.
- Given enough defense and high speed, the Dragon Claw may prove useful for many boss fights like against Skeletron and Underling.
