Heatwave is a powerful pre-Hardmode yoyo crafted by combining the Valor with Hellstone Bars. Similarly to the Cascade, Heatwave produces fire particles that emit light and inflicts On Fire!. Unlike the Cascade, the Heatwave will occasionally launch flaming embers upon hitting enemies. It can be considered a strong version of the Ashen Yoyo.

It has a reach of 15 tiles and a spin time of 13 seconds. Its string is orange.

Tips

• This yoyo is meant almost specifically for if the player can't find a Cascade. As such, it is statistically and thematically similar.
