The Crimson String is a pre-Hardmode accessory which increases life regeneration and yoyo range, as well as inflicting Varicose. It is the Crimson counterpart to the Shadow String. It cannot be equipped with other strings added by Veridian Mod.

Notes

• The life regeneration increase provided by the crimson string is just above that of a Band of Regeneration, at 1.5 HP/s compared to the band's 1 HP/s.
• The red colouring and bleeding-like debuff are thematically relevant to the Crimson biome itself. Similarly, the regeneration effect, while not nearly as powerful, is thematic to its armour set bonus.
