Whips (United Collection (Whips and more!))

Whips are a type of close-ranged summon weapon. This mod greatly expands this part of summoner by adding 30 whips and 13 whip-related accessories.

Mechanics

Whips swing in an arcing motion and produce a unique sound, and deal summon damage to enemies, they boost minion damage by their summon tag damage number.

When an enemy has been hit with a whip, any minions the player has summoned will target that enemy, much like when right-clicking an enemy with a summoning weapon.

Some whips do not have summon tag, instead they have summon crit which allows minions to do critical hits. Minion critical chance depends on the whip.

Some whips have special abilities.

All whips are affected by flasks.

Whips can have the same modifiers as swords. Their best modifier is Legendary.

The mod's developer made whips to allow summoners to attack enemies without having to use other weapons and getting the Calamity summon damage penalty.

2.975 Reduced the DPS of all whips and increased their summon tag values again.
