Engineer's Starter Secondary

The Pistol is a secondary weapon for the Scout and Engineer. It fires a single bullet with low damage, but has a high rate of fire and accuracy. Like the SMG and the Revolver, the Pistol is perfectly accurate, with all succeeding shots having slight bullet spread. However, waiting 1.25 seconds resets the accuracy, making the Pistol perfectly accurate again. This weapon is a stock weapon and can be obtained immediately if the Scout or Engineer class is chosen.

Notes

  • Since the Pistol uses local immunity frames, it means that it does not lose any damage output due to invincibility frames.

Strategies

  • Due to the Pistol's low damage, the Scout or Engineer shouldn't use it as a main damage source.
  • The Pistol has more range than Scout's scatterguns or Engineer's shotguns, therefore making it a good weapon to use when both classes' primary weapons are out of range to be effective.
  • The Pistol can reload its entire clip at once, giving it a consistent damage output.

Trivia

  • The Pistol used to be two separate weapons, one for the Scout and the other for the Engineer.
    • However, all of them were merged into one weapon.
