Lux is a Hardmode Boss that is fought in The Hallow. Lux is summoned by killing the Chaos Construct and then killing the Chaos Spirit, and not the cage that it is attached to. Even though Lux can fought be at the start of Hardmode, it is generally recommended to fight it after Plantera or Golem.
