Gemstone Structures (Secrets Of The Shadows)

Gemstone Structures are various structures generated throughout the world with each structure representing a biome. All structures contain the vespera gem locks and their respective chests, with a locked ruined chest as well. The diamond structure being the only exception. The Archaeologist can sometimes be found investigating the gem structures and will sell items found in the structure.

Each gemlock represents a barrier surrounding the Anomaly found throughout the world.

Someone created those barriers for a reason

Gem Structures

Amethyst

Located on the surface of a nearby desert biome. Contains Belphegor's Ring in the Gem Chest. Contains Rock Candy in the Ruined Chest.

Topaz

Located on top of the Lihzahrd Temple. Contains Accuser's Ring in the Gem Chest. Contains Betrayer's Knife in the Ruined Chest.

Sapphire

Located in the bottom corner closest to world spawn of the snow biome. Contains Mammon's Ring in the Gem Chest. Contains Bag of Ammunition Gathering in the Ruined Chest.

Emerald

Located on the right side of the underworld. Contains Leviathan's Ring in the Gem Chest. Contains Vorpal Knife in the Ruined Chest.

Ruby

Located in the bottom part of a crimson/corruption chasm. Contains Beelzebub's Ring in the Gem Chest. Contains Synthetic Liver in the Ruined Chest.

Diamond

Located in the upper left corner of the world. Contains Light-Bringer's Ring in the Gem Chest. Doesn't have a Ruined Chest, instead there is a Forgotten Lamp placed on the structure.

Amber

Located inside a cave of one of the ocean biomes. Contains Asmodeus's Ring in the Gem Chest. Contains Kelp Whip in the Ruined Chest.

Tips

• Don't craft the large gem before venturing your way to the structure, have the materials ready and craft it at the spot in case you die on the way.
• It is recommended to place pylons near the structures if you want to easily find the Archaeologist
