The Evil Spirit Staff is a craftable Hardmode summon weapon. When used, it summons a Evil Spirit Aid that attacks nearby enemies by latching onto them and then surrounding them in a circular motion with orbs. While the orbs circle the enemy they will shoot them with multiple Evil Spears which then ends with an explosion.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Evil Spirit Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
