The below is all of the lore behind Repeat's DND Vanity. Well, most of it.

IRL Lore

Beginnings

Solaris76 and Ultrablazer asked Ian if they wanted to start a D&D group together, and he agreed, but he said he needed more players. He brought me, someone who had played alongside him for two campaigns so far, as well as Soren, a friend from church who also had an interest in beginning to play D&D. Solaris76 and Ultrablazer also brought along Chiutana, a classmate of theirs and friend who happened to have been in a campaign with Ian before as well. So, with Ian as Dungeon Master, we began our first campaign.

First Campaign

Each of us had one character throughout the campaign, because of being the "prophecized heroes". There was Darek, Solaris, Stealthblade, Kirito, and Eryn as PCs, as well as Hot Dog Guy, Bubby, Basarios, and a few others as NPCs. At the end, everyone but Eryn and Aurora died, ending the campaign with a dramatic throwing of everyone into purgatory.

Second Campaign

This time, there was no prophecy, the players were just pawns, their lives were worth nothing, they served no purpose, they should ki- I mean, they were sent off to dangerous missions with the intent of them dying. My characters were Topaz and Thoria, Solaris76's characters were Skye and Met-L, Ultrablazer's character was Kai, Chiutana's characters were Acer, Rowan, and Alya, Sorenjedi's characters were Richard, Johnson, and Hormin, and there were some NPCs such as Zodge, Tarina, and others.

Character Lore

Darek (Repeat's Character)

Not that special. His real only interesting trait was his lack of balls.

Topaz (Repeat's Character)

Topaz was a bard whose goal in life was to do what only Donkey from Shrek has done before. He was drafted with the others (at the start of the second campaign) into the Flaming Fist and went on many dangerous and sanity-tearing missions, but Sinjohn's slaughter was the final straw, and he left the party on his own accord to try and revert his mental state to a more positive one.

Thoria (Repeat's Character)

Born in the same town as Topaz and having known him in her teenage years, Thoria was a warlock who, no, does not have connection to hit game Thorium Mod for the XBox 360.

Solaris (Solaris76's Character)

A rogue who wears green and does crime. Enjoys high elevations, and it's implied that they somehow had a connection to Skye later on. Also enjoyed Aurora's company during their travels.

Aurora (Solaris76's Character)

A dragon who was born as a divine reward to Solaris's deeds. Was separated from Solaris when they died, and has stuck with Eryn ever since.

Skye (Solaris76's Character)

Bird who fly and camp out enemies. Died a horrible death in a dungeon after trying to camp the wrong enemy.

Met-L (Solaris76's Character)

Forged from the flames of war, (get it, warforged, haha), Met-L was a metallic artificer who made many a machine and used his abilities to help out the party immensely.

Stealthblade (Ultrablazer's Character)

The first campaign was supposed to be Ultrablazer's OC's backstory, but since he died Ultrablazer decided it wasn't actually his backstory. He has two swords, one was more accurate and one dealt more damage.

Kai (Ultrablazer's Character)

Timid yet sometimes brave, this cleric tries to keep everyone alive to the best of his abilities. Has seen every single member come and leave (usually leaving by death), despite his attempts to keep everyone together.

Kirito (Chiutana's Character)

Kirito was a wizard who specialized in the Firebolt spell and would've later specialized in Fireball usage.

Acer (Chiutana's Character)

Acer was shunned by his own family (with the exception of his brother, Rowan) due to his lack of magical prowess; However, he began to have hope for redemption when he began adventuring as a sneaky rogue.

Rowan (Chiutana's Character)

The last of his siblings after Acer's death, Rowan used martial arts to punch, kick, and nyoom around the battlefield to defeat his enemies.

Alya (Chiutana's Character)

A fighter with the ability to summon an Echo Knight, this Air Genasi used her abilities for the greater good.

Eryn (Sorenjedi's Character)

An insane, crossbow-wielding combat cleric who never utilized healing at all. He joined the party on a whim and lived to see his party members burn. Other than Aurora, of course. He took care of Aurora for many decades, training them and bringing their power to fruition.

Richard (Sorenjedi's Character)

A warlock who set out on a legendary adventure to get rich and rid himself of his unpaid bills and IRS warnings. How did he get in debt? NFTs. Yet to this day he still hasn't learned his lesson...

Johnson (Sorenjedi's Character)

A barbarian who devoted himself to a mysterious entity and collected spines for them, gaining more power as he did. He helped Travis, a local goblin, to remodel his hotel, making them good business partners. However, when his party and business partner were about to be slaughtered, he sacrificed himself to the mysterious entity, and was taken over and morphed into the eldritch abomination known to legend as Sinjohn. Sinjohn slaughtered the perpetrators and then had his own spine ripped out, killing him in the process.

Hormin (Sorenjedi's Character)

This writer enjoys writing so much, he and his dog set out on a great travel to do method acting for the main character in his book. That includes the stabbing and stealing parts.

Hot Dog Guy (Ian's Character)

A fun-loving, not-really-that-powerful guy who just sells hot dogs for a living in his only-off-screen-moving hot dog stand.

Bubby (Ian's Character)

The god of... uh... we don't really know before he became the god of murder, but in any case he was a silly Nidorino who was the one behind the prophecy in the first campaign. But, some time after the failure of that prophecy, he mysteriously became the god of murder.

Basarios (Ian's Character)

Dumb and dim-witted, this barbarian did heavy hits, but in the end, took heavy hits too. Ouch.

Zodge (Ian's Character)

Leader of the Flaming Fist, this bulky man has power, strength, and status to match his devious looks. (He would look really good in a Platinum Helmet with black dye.) Kicked a Nidorino named Spine C. Ripper (who was owned by Johnson at the time) and somehow killed it in one hit.

Travis (Ian's Character)

An owner of a previously failing hotel, this goblin was struggling with business- until Johnson came along and helped out. He stabs with strength and is as greedy as he is determined.
