The Magma Scepter is a craftable, Pre-Hardmode cross-content shamanic weapon from Orchid and Thorium. On use, it fires a magma bolt that hits your enemy 2 times. Hitting the same target twice will grant you a magma orb. Upon reaching 5 orbs, your next hit will explode in a small area around the target. Each magma bolt has a chance of lighting the enemy on fire, causing additional damage over time.

Hitting enemies provides the Level I Earth Bond to the player.
