The Bulb Scepter is a Hardmode shamanic weapon that has a chance to be obtained from Plantera. On use, it fires a spiky seed, much like the ones fired by Plantera, that are capable of bouncing and pierce up to 3 enemies. By default, only 1 seed is fired, but increases by 1 with every active shamanic empowerment, up to a maximum of 6 spiky seeds per weapon use.

Hitting enemies provides the Level IV Life Regeneration Empowerment to the player.
