Crafting materials (Magnumiactus)

A crafting material is an item used to make other items. They are typically found in the recipe of an item, and they are often used up in the process of crafting an item. There are various ways to get crafting materials, such as mining, collecting dropped items from enemies, or purchasing items from an NPC. While any item could theoretically become a crafting material if it is used in a recipe, this article primarily covers items that are meant to be used for crafting above all else.

Materials dropped by enemies

Due to Magnumiactus not having much in the way of world-affecting events or generation, a large amount of materials are dropped by NPCs, particularly enemies.

At the moment, Magnumiactus has only one Town NPC: the Living Relic.

Ores and Bars

At this moment, Magnumiactus only has one ore and two bars: Procellarite Ore, Shorebrass Bar, and Procellarite Bar. Procellarite Ore can be obtained as either a drop from the post-Moon Lord boss Morilus or from underground veins generated after defeating Morilus. Procellarite Ore is used to create Procellarite Bars, which are then used to make Procellarite equipment, some of the strongest equipment currently available in Magnumiactus. Shorebrass Bars can be obtained pre-Hardmode and are used to make equipment typically found in Locked Gold Chests or equipment of a similar style or tier. 3 Shorebrass Bars can be crafted from 2 Bones, 1 Coral, and either 2 Copper or Tin Bars at a Furnace.
