The Goliath is a Hardmode enemy.

While it can't deal contact damage to the player most of the time, upon getting close to the player, its body will turn red before exploding, dealing a high amount of damage (480 / 720) to the player, killing them very often.

Tips

• Try not to get near the Goliath, especially in Expert Mode, because even with a tanky loadout, it can still deal a dangerous amount of dmg to the player.
  • In Expert Mode, the explosion is stronger than a player who has the maximum health of 600 (with Lifeforce buff).
