The Hallowed Altar is a craftable post-Moon Lord Furniture item dropped by Sunlight Slimes with a 5% (1 in 20) chance and Scarab Believers with a 3.33% (1 in 30) chance. Additionally, it can be purchased from the Dryad after the Wall of Shadow has been defeated. When placed, several interactions can be made with it to summon various Bosses.

If a Ancient Builder Booklet Bound Volume are in the player's inventory, the Goblin Tinkerer will sell the Blueprint- Hallowed Altar, showing how to build a Hallowed Altar. The Hallowed Altar requires 9 Wood, 12 Wooden Beams, and 11 Shroud of Turins. If in The Hallow, the Hallowed Altar will let the player summon The Son.
