Hydro Charges are a type of ammunition used by all Kappa weapons, either directly, or by being required to craft the weapon's specialized ammunition. Small amounts of Hydro Charges may be dropped by Kappa Explorers, Kappa Pioneers, Kappa Pathfinders and Kappa Adventurers. Furthermore, if Nitori Kawashiro is defeated and drops the Kappa Water Rifle or Bubble Dragon, she will always drop some Hydro Charges.

Additionally, Hydro Charges can be purchased from the Arms Dealer when any Kappa weapon is in the player's inventory.
