The Headsman's Axe is a Pre-Hardmode axe, which may be dropped by Sekibanki.

Unlike other weapons, which do double damage on critical hits, the Headsman's Axe inflicts quadruple damage when a critical hit is landed. It also functions as a normal axe, though this functionality can be disabled in the Mod Configuration settings to prevent accidentally destroying tiles while using it in combat.
