Hakurouken is a Hardmode melee weapon. It has significantly less reach than its counterpart Roukanken, but a higher attack speed. When swung, it regularly releases multiple non-piercing projectiles that travel towards the position of the cursor.

Both Hakurouken's melee attack as well as these projectiles deal 150% extra damage to spirits and ghosts. This affects the following enemies:

• Wraith
• Possessed Armor
• Reaper
• Dungeon Spirit
• Ghost
• Poltergeist
• Desert Spirit
• Pirate's Curse
• Vengeful Spirit
• Minamitsu Murasa

Its alternate fire deflects nearby projectiles, sending them towards the cursor. These projectiles do 400% their original damage to any enemy hit by them.

Hakurouken becomes available for purchase at the Curio Trader after defeating a Tier 5 Boss.

Trivia

• Hakurouken is one of the two swords wielded by Youmu Konpaku. its alternate fire is likely a reference to the skill card Lower Realm Reflection Slash from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.
