Vibro Cutter

The Vibro Cutter attacking several target Target Dummies. Note the ability to swing without charging and the ability to use Cloud in a Bottle again after charging and striking.

The Vibro Cutter is a Hardmode sword made with a Foreign Material and Meteorite Bars.

When used, the player charges to the location of the cursor when the ⚒ Use / Attack button is clicked. The player charges for approximately 0.67 seconds before swinging the sword. Alternatively, the ⚒ Use / Attack button can be released early to slash. If the sword hits an enemy, all movement abilities (such as wings or extra jumps) are reset, allowing them to be used again.

If using right after swinging, the player can swing the Vibro Cutter without charging.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

• All charging strikes deal critical damage and deal double damage.

Tips

• This weapon can technically be obtained Pre-Hardmode, as no materials or crafting stations are actually locked to Hardmode. However, players shouldn't try obtaining this weapon early, as Soldiers are difficult without post-Plantera gear.

• The weapon's design and its ability to accelerate the user forward is based on the Laser Blades from Armored Core.
