The Baby Boom is a pre-Hardmode launcher that fires explosive rockets. The rockets fired travel in an arc and explode either upon impact or in air after 0.75 seconds. Additionally, rocket damage is reduced by a flat amount of 40, and rockets deal 150% damage upon directly hitting a target. The Baby Boom is sold by the Demolitionist.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

• All rockets deal splash damage that will harm the player if fired too close. They will not damage other players unless PvP is enabled.
