Valentine Ring is an accessory that can be found in the Heart Shrine chest, or bought from the 
Merchant either during Valentine's Day event, or, depending on the Configuration options, when affected by the 
Lovestruck effect.
When obtained from the chest or the merchant, the Valentine Ring has no effect and its tooltip suggests to give it to another player, which can be achieved by dropping it. When the Valentine Ring is picked up from the ground its effects are unlocked and its tooltip changes accordingly. It is perfectly possible for the same player to drop it and pick it back up, the item does not keep track of which player dropped it or which player picked it up; all that matters for the unlock is that it was picked up from the world.
When unlocked, the Valentine Ring increases health regeneration by +3 and jump speed by +2.5.
Notes
- To activate the effects of the Valentine Ring, the player can simply drop the Valentine Ring and pick it up again. This is done by dragging the item to the drop icon on the touch screen, or alternatively, selecting it in the inventory and pressing the similar icon on the left of the screen.
- The Valentine Ring's jump height increase effect does not stack with Shiny Red Balloon or its upgrades.
Tips
- The Valentine Ring is a particularly useful early-game accessory due to its high health regeneration providing a replacement for potions that would otherwise be used to quickly heal the character. The additional jump height also provides extra mobility in the early-game period when more significant effects to movement are uncommon.
