Rainbow Piece is a crafting material in Consolaria, used to create the summon item for the Leprechaun O'Fyffe pet. They can also be used to create Rainbow Bricks before Hardmode. They fall from the sky in daytime during the Saint Patrick's Day seasonal event, or alternatively when it rains. When night falls, any Rainbow Piece left outside will vanish.

- The Guide references that the Rainbow Pieces are parts of a greater object, the Prism Danann. However, there is no such item in the game.
- This may be a reference to the Tuatha Dé Danann, a supernatural race in Gaelic mythology.
- Although Rainbow Pieces and Fallen Stars can be shimmered into each other, their incompatible schedule (one vanishing in night time, and the other in day time) makes this transmutation difficult outside of special secret world seeds such as don't dig up.
