The Leprechaun is a unique pet in that it will randomly generate coins as you walk around. Contrarily to the original mobile version, the Leprechaun does not generate coins when it jumps. Instead, they have a 1/3 chance of generating them every 800 frames if they are moving horizontally; statistically this corresponds to an average of three coins per two minutes of movement. If they do generate a coin, it'll most likely be a copper coin: a silver coin only has a 1/100 chance of being spawned instead; a gold coin only a 1/400 chance; and a platinum coin only a 1/1200 chance. Since there is only a 1/3 chance to generate a coin in the first place, the final probabilities end up being as such:

On the whole, this coin generation has no meaningful impact on the game, as it can be expected to generate on average less than a silver coin per real-time hour.
Trivia
- It was possible to farm his coins by making a room with a low ceiling, having o'Fyffe on one side of the door and the player on the other. He would try to jump out (probably because he thought it is simply an obstacle). If the player placed a block above his head, he would jump even faster as he could fit through a 2 block gap. Being too far away would cause him to fly through blocks toward the player.
