The Spiky Ball Dropper is a Hardmode trap sentry weapon. It fires once every 60 frames. It drops three spiky balls below it with a random velocity to the left or right. It has a 33% (50%) chance of being dropped by Golem.

This weapon benefits from the player's sentry speed, able to fire faster than its default firing speed.
Its best Modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the sentry's damage. Additionally, sentries cannot deal critical hits under normal circumstances. The only significant advantage a Mythical Spiky Ball Dropper has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
