The Magnetar Deployer is a Hardmode endgame trap sentry weapon. It fires once every 60 frames. Two homing projectiles are fired out that chase down the nearest enemy, even going through solid tiles. It is effectively an upgraded Wasp Emitter. Of note placing more of these won't directly increase damage due to triggering enemy immunity frames on hit, but more of them will increase the damage area. Also the projectiles only causes 3 frames of enemy immunity hit.

This weapon benefits from the player's sentry speed, able to fire faster than its default firing speed.
Its best Modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the sentry's damage. Additionally, sentries cannot deal critical hits under normal circumstances. The only significant advantage a Mythical Magnetar Deployer has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
