Interstellar Corruption is a debuff inflicted by the border arena in the Astrageldon fight, Nova Slimers, and the Exalted Horizon weapon. The debuff stacks multiple times on those inflicted with it, which is signified by black flames that surround them. If a player gains a total of four flames, they explode and are instantly killed. If an enemy gains a total of five flames, an explosion occurs, dealing significant damage.

Being inflicted with Chaos State with any amount of flames will instantly kill the player. Being inflicted by the debuff on the For the worthy seed will also instantly kill the player. If Astrageldon isn't active, the debuff will automatically dissipate from players.
