The Reality-Bending Mushroom is a quest item that can be given to the Mushroom Heir to obtain the Ethereal Mushrune. This item can be obtained when the following conditions are met:

• The player has all Alchemical Mushrooms in their inventory. (This includes the Prismatic Lightcap as well)
• The player is in a glowing mushroom biome.
• Golem has been defeated.
• The player opens the Dimensional God's shop.

Notes

• The Dimensional God has unique dialogue describing exactly how this item can be obtained, however, said dialogue is much rarer than the others.
• Once it is obtained, it cannot be obtained again unless a new instance of the Dimensional God NPC is spawned.

Trivia

• This item originates from the now discontinued Ultranium mod, in said mod, it was a secret item which could only be obtained by bringing 7 extremely difficult to obtain mushrooms to the Keeper NPC. It was used to initiate the fight against ???, the Keeper's true form.
  • Cheating the needed mushrooms in would have no effect.
