The Cold Desert Shield is a craftable Pre-Hardmode accessory, it increases all damage and critical strike chance by 4% and grants the player 6 defense and 4% damage reduction if they are in either the Snow or Desert biome, the shield also grants 4 defense if the player is below 50% their max HP. Getting hit will drop 4 sharp Frost Scales onto the ground that do damage equal to half the taken damage. At the same time a mana chockwave is unleashed, the shockwave removes all mana the player had during that time. The damage dealt by the porjectile is half the amount of mana the player had upon activation. Damage is increased to the full value in Hardmode. The shockwave cannot occour for 5 seconds after activating.
