Adel von Gunresat is a passive NPC that can be summoned by using the Soul of the Underworld in The Hallow after listening to the soul's conversation. Upon being summoned, Adel will speak to the player and then ask them to take his weapon, after which he will drop the Lightstream Mythos. Upon finishing his dialogue, he will disappear and "Adel's soul fades away into Mythos." will be displayed in chat.

Notes

• Adel cannot take damage and as such can't be killed.

Trivia

• Initially, Adel wasn't supposed to appear ingame and instead was going to be only appearing in lore texts. This was changed when boss soul weapon crafting was cut from the mod during development. He and Vertrarius were then added to give the weapons more unique obtainment methods.
