The Ghostly Chains is a Hardmode Summon weapon dropped by Necrosis with a 33.33% (1 in 3) chance. When used, it fires a Ghostly Chains that slowly hovers forwards before disappearing. Upon contact with an enemy, it will bind the enemy to several chains, trapping them.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Ghostly Chains has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
