The Piss Moon is a randomly occuring event Hardmode event that takes place at night, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM. It has a 16.67*1/6 (16.67%) chance of occurring on any given night if the world is in Hardmode, but it can be manually summoned at any stage of progression by using the Pissed Sheets at nighttime.

During a Piss Moon, the sky begins to rain Toxic Piss, inflicting the Toxic Piss debuff, which deals 1/30 of the player's maximum health per second for as long as they are exposed to it. Monsters spawn 8x as often, Demon Eyes gain the ability to shoot piss, and all monsters have a 1/400 chance to drop a Piss Key, among many other effects. The Piss Moon must also be active in order to craft the Piss Vortex.

Trivia

• The Piss Moon disables the decrease in mob spawn rates that towns provide.
• During the Piss Moon, all Zombies and Demon Eyes have 3x as much health and deal 1.2x as much damage.
• Defeating enemies during the Piss Moon is the only way for a Piss Key to drop, which is required to obtain the Piss Blaster.
