Dreadnaught is a Hardmode boss fought alongside the Mechanical Bosses.

While Dreadnaught is alive, the music Fiery Wrath V2 by Bartuscus will play.

Spawn

Dreadnaught spawns by using a Dreadcandle in The Underworld.

Behavior

Dreadnaught will mainly stay to the side of the player before attacking.

Attacks

• Fireballs : Stays to the side of the player and fires 5 homing fireballs.
• Fire Breath : A flamethrower-like attack where the boss will travel from one side to another.
• Fire Blast : A scream with shockwaves, slowing down players around it, emitting fireballs all around itself that travel in a straight line.
• Summoning Dreadlings : A scream with shockwaves, slowing down players around it where 4 Dreadlings are summoned.
• Chomp Charge: Opens its jaw and charges at the player to then chomp.

Upon reaching 50% health, Dreadnaught screams and turns red to indicate its second phase and its attacks will get more aggressive.

• Fireballs : Now fires 7 homing fireballs instead of 5.
• Fire Blast : Will now also shoot a ton of fireballs upwards for them to rain down.
• Summoning Dreadlings : Now summons 8 Dreadlings instead of 4.
• Chomp Charge: Now emits fireballs all around itself that travel in a straight line after every chomp.
