The Hive Class (User:MeurdMeister/Bee Swarm Simulator Mod)

The Hive Class is the class associated with the majority of the content in this mod. It is a custom class that can benefit from general stat boosts (like those granted by the Avenger Emblem for example), but with a playstyle similar to Summoner. It can be played with or without Bees, as the damage of Collectors scale based on how many active Bees the player has. However, Bees can grant the player useful buffs, and are vital for converting Pollen into Honey Money (more on that later), which is the primary currency of the mod, used by most of the items.

Damage from this class is denoted as hive damage.

Mechanics

Pollen Collection

If the player has a Bag equipped, hitting enemies with Collectors or Bees will collect Pollen, indicated by the white text that appears with damage numbers. Different Bags can store different amounts of Pollen, and various other accessories can increase this cap further. Once your Pollen capacity is reached, a message will appear in the chat to notify you.

Conversion

If the player has any Pollen stored in their Bag, and they have any active Bees near their respective Hive Slots, those bees will begin to convert that Pollen into Honey Money. This can be used at various Town NPCs as the primary currency.
