The Dredger is a Pre-Hardmode boss, While it is alive, its music Morpho Knight will play, the song is from Kirby and the Forgotten land.

Spawn

Dredger does not spawn on its own, and requires the player to summon it by using a Rare Geode on a Miner's Reliquary which can be found with a Sanctum Tracker. It can only be summoned in the Cavern level.

Behavior

Dredger alternates between Four attacks and has a 2nd phase when at half health:

• Pickaxes - Throws Pickaxes that eventually are thrown at the player at higher speeds, during this dredger stands still.

• Bombs - Bombs spawn in near the player and have a timer until they explode and show their radius with dust.

• Skeletons - Spawns fast moving skeletons.

• Mining - Dredger will start going at high speeds, this mostly to catch up with you or get out of the ground, after he finishes he flings himself up.

• Lava Geysers - Leaves behind geysers that shoot randomly and have a high reach.

• Flaming Pickaxes - pickaxes are thrown into the air then will show calligraphy for where they are going to shoot, during this dredger stands still.

• Lava Bombs - Bombs spawn in near the player and have a timer until they explode afterwards lava is left behind which will shoot at the player after a delay.

• Magma Skeletons - Spawns fast moving skeletons that explode when a player is close enough.

Tips

• The Dredger can be knocked back easily try to keep him away from you with fast weapons or high knockback weapons.
• Have enough roof room you can jump over the geysers or hook to the celling.
• The attack pattern keeps the same so you can predict what the next attack is.
