Wavedancer (The Stars Above)

The Wavedancer is a craftable Pre-Hardmode 
Spatial summoning weapon that is made obtainable after Thespian, the Act of Alchemy has been defeated.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Wavedancer has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
In Game Description
Summons an oceanblessed blade to assail foes.
The weapon requires 3 minion slots available to be summoned but does not consume minion slots.
When holding this weapon, holding left click while the weapon is summoned will allow for manual control of the weapon with your cursor.
Additionally, damage is reduced or multipled up to 1.500% depending on speed and gain 2% critical strike chance per minion slot for this weapon only.
Critical strikes with this weapon will inflict Riptide for 2 seconds and grants Swiftness for 4 seconds.
Riptide increases the damage of the next minion attack by 30% (This weapon can detonate this effect).
Press the Weapon Action Key when manually controlling the weapon to slash in an area around the weapon, inflicting Riptide for 2 seconds (4 second cooldown).
