Observatory Hyperborea (The Stars Above)

The Observatory Hyperborea is a subworld which can be accessed through Cosmic Voyages. In the observatory, the Celestriad Root can be accessed, as well as the subworld for fighting Tsukiyomi, the First Starfarer. This observatory has no other use other than that.

Appearance

The Observatory has multiple cloud-like platforms, a training area with targets, and a big platform with 4 pillars surrounding the Celestriad Root. The Celestriad Root can be used to craft items like the Stellaglyphs. It has no great use other than that. The Observatory has been made in a classic world template, as the dialogue for discovering the ocean can be achieved in the Observatory. Most of the world is a void, with a barrier throwing the player back up.

Starfarer dialogue

When attempting to use the spatial disk within the Observatory, the following dialogue will be shown:

Asphodene

"Yeah, I wondered when you would ask about the crates and stuff around the Observatory. Well, unlike the original owners, we need to eat, obviously. Wait, did you seriously think we didn't have to eat? That would be awful."

Eridani

"Oh, the crates around the Observatory? It's mostly food. Did you think we didn't have to eat? We'd be missing out on a lot. As long as we plan on staying here, we'll need supplies. Lucky for us, the galaxy has no shortage of abandoned planets to loot. I mean... they're not using it anymore."

Trivia

• The name is a reference to Hyperborea from Greek religion.
• Similar to Lyra, this map is initialized every time when entered. This ensures the map not altered permanently by the player.
  • However, usually the player won't be able to alter this world due to ban of most practices related to placing and destroying tiles.
• Like the general case of space voyage, placing and removing wires or actuators aren't forbiddened here.
  • By actuating the block below with assistance of actuator and actuation rod, layer can loot Celestriad Root and Foreign Vending Machine - both of them are usually unobtainable during normal gameplay.
