Nanomachina Reactor when used.

The Nanomachina Reactor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode Spatial item obtainable after defeating Skeletron.

In Game Description

Use this item when at max Mana to consume all Mana and gain the buff Realized Nanomachina for 20 seconds (12 second cooldown).
While Realized Nanomachina is active: gain a barrier proportional to 20% of Max HP (Max 100 HP), gain 10% damage reduction, and gain knockback immunity.
Additionally, for 2 seconds after activation, gain an additional 40% damage reduction.
Taking damage will subtract from the barrier, negating oncoming damage and granting 1 second of immunity.
While Realized Nanomachina is active, striking foes will restore 5 HP and 5 Mana (6 second cooldown).
Additionally, striking enemies will slowly fill the Nanomachine Gauge ; once full, automatically restore the duration and barrier HP of Realized Nanomachina .
Defeating foes increases the Nanomachine Gauge by 5%.
When Realized Nanomachina ends, the Nanomachine Gauge Nanomachine Gauge is emptied (Will also empty out of combat).

Notes

• Since this item always consumes maximum mana, and cannot be used if the player doesn't have max mana, it cannot trigger the Mana Flower's automatic Mana Potion ability.
• While this item has a 5 second mana regeneration delay, a Mana Regeneration Potion nullifies that delay completely, regenerating mana instantly after use of the Nanomachina Reactor.

Trivia

• The item is a clear reference to the ability Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has where he can stand still to become near invincible and rapidly regenerate health.
  • The tooltip references one of his quotes.
