Whip attack and Mechanical Arachnids

The Arachnid Needlepoint is a craftable Hardmode Spatial summoning weapon that is obtainable after the Empress of Light has been defeated.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Arachnid Needlepoint has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

In Game Description

3 summon tag damage.
Attacks with this weapon whip in a wide arc while ignoring terrain, targetting foes struck.
Right click to deploy a Mechanical Arachnid , which will hover and latch onto targets.
Only one Mechanical Arachnid can latch onto a target at a time.
Mechanical Arachnids will tether to each other when latched on, inflicting damage on foes between them rapidly.
Double tap DOWN to deploy a stationary Mechanical Arachnid after at least one non-stationary Mechanical Arachnid has been summoned.
Stationary Mechanical Arachnids deal no damage but non-stationary Mechanical Arachnids can tether to them to deal damage.
Striking foes that Mechanical Arachnid s have latched on to with the whip deals critical damage and grants Web of Needles for 4 seconds.
Web of Needles increases all minion damage by 30%.
