The Shiny Charm is a Key item that increases the holder's chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon. It is received as a one-time reward for obtaining all the Pokémon in the Terrarian Pokédex, demonstrating total completion.
Effect
When in the player's inventory or open void bag, Shiny odds are tripled compared to the base chance. Assuming no changes are made to the default chance in the Mod Config, the Shiny Charm's two extra rerolls increase the chance of encountering a Shiny Pokémon from 1/4096 to approximately 3/4096 (roughly 1/1365).
Notes
- The Shiny Charm only affects Pokémon NPCs spawned for the player with the item. This means that the effect of the Shiny Charm does not stack in multiplayer.
