The Medi Gun is a Secondary Weapon for the Medic. It fires a glowing aura at the Medic's mouse cursor. Friendly NPCs and players can be healed by it. Friendly NPCs can temporarily gain 150% of their maximum health, which the bonus health degrades over time if they're not constantly healed. While healing, Medic builds up ÜberCharge. When his ÜberCharge meter is full, he can active his ability, granting invincibility to himself and his recipients for 8 seconds. This weapon is a stock weapon and can be obtained immediately if the Medic class is chosen.

Notes
- The Medi Gun uses global immunity frames, meaning that friendly NPCs cannot regenerate for a few frames after getting healed.
- This weapon's projectile ignore tiles and enemies.
- ÜberCharge is lost upon death.
Strategies
- The Medi Gun should be the Medic's main weapon. Medic should almost always use this weapon in most situations to heal allies and let them deal damage instead of himself.
- Activating ÜberCharge at the appropriate time could be the difference between victory and defeat.
- During dire situations, it is better to activate ÜberCharge at the wrong time than to die and lose it.
Trivia
- The Medi Gun used to fire a laser projectile instead of an aura.
- However, this was changed due to a glitch in multiplayer, causing lag.
