Classes (Team Fortress 2)

From Terraria Mods Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Team Fortress Mod introduces 9 new classes to Terraria. Each of the classes have different abilities that differentiate them from each other. However, all 9 classes share the same damage type, mercenary damage. All 9 classes can utilize an arsenal of weapons and two accessories.

Unlike other classes such as melee, ranger, mage, summoner, and other modded ones, the 9 classes do not have natural life regeneration, access to armor, consume potions that are not health kits, equip non-weapon accessories that are not class tokens or rank tokens, nor use other weapons that don't possess mercenary damage. In addition, it's required that a legal loadout (one that can be made in the actual Team Fortress 2) is used for these classes. Excluding Engineer and Spy, this loadout should be one primary weapon, one secondary weapon, and one melee weapon. Certain accessories can be classified as weapons in this context.

The Scout is an Offensive class. He is the fastest and most mobile class with a speed of 133%. He is fragile, with only 125 health. However, this can be increased with Life Crystals and Life Fruits. Scout has the unique ability to double jump, allowing increased vertical mobility without additional accessories. He does pitiful damage, making hit-and-run combat absolutely necessary.

The Soldier is an Offensive class. He is an all-rounded class with 200 health, which can be increased with Life Crystals and Life Fruits. However, he has a speed of 80%, making him the second slowest class. To counteract, all of Soldier's primary weapons have the ability to rocket jump by shooting at the ground, propelling him at a great distance with the cost of some health. The Soldier deals consistent damage and is overall a great class to play.
