The Spooky Buster is a pre-Hardmode melee weapon dropped by the Spooky Spirit. When used, it performs a wide overhead swing that can hit 2 enemies at a time, dealing 20% less damage to the second target. Hitting enemies will launch a gravity-affected Spooky Skull upwards, which explodes upon impact with a tile, rapidly dealing 50% of base damage to enemies in a small area.
Its best modifier is Legendary.
