The Living Retina Staff is a craftable Hardmode wand. When used, it fires Magic Eyes that follow the cursor as long as the attack button is held down. Up to 8 Eyes can exist at a time. Releasing the attack button at less than 8 Eyes will cause all Magic Eyes to stop following the cursor and double their damage. Releasing the attack button while 8 Magic Eyes are present will explode them, dealing 500% damage all enemies caught in the blast.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
