The Venom Gland is a Pre-Hardmode accessory obtained from Wall Creepers and Black Recluses. Upon taking damage, all nearby enemies will gain the Venom debuff for 2 seconds.

Tips

  • Self-damage received from scepter armors will trigger the accessory's effects. Pairing this accessory with said armors will allow you to trigger it's effects on command at the cost of health.
  • This accessory is very useful on Eater of Worlds and Brain of Cthulhu as all nearby Eater of Worlds segments and Creepers will be envenomed. This accessory is also moderately useful on Frigidius for similar reasons.
