NPC Item Drop Increases (Reduced Grinding)

Reduced Grinding changes the drop chances of several NPC loot. It also a few item drop chances for enemies that normally don't have it.

Vanilla Rates by Default

The following have configurations, but are using vanilla drop rates by default.

Non-Boss Loot

Loot that requires an NPC name will now always drop. This means Guide will always drop Green Cap and Steampunker will always drop Ivy. Rare Pirate loot drop chances have been increased to the same amounts in the 1.4.4 update.

Note: While Slime Staff rates were increased, Reduced Grinding/Slime TrophySlime Trophy was added as a "trophy item" in place of Slime Staff.

Tip

If you can handle it, use Greater Battle Potion or Super Battle Potion to increase the spawn rate to get loot faster.
