Spears (Homeward Journey)

Spears are a type of melee weapons that attack in a slow stabbing motion, capable of dealing damage to multiple enemies or enemies inside walls as well as dealing damage multiple times to the same enemy. This makes spears an excellent choice against bosses and enemies with multiple segments.
Homeward Journey currently adds several new spears.

Alternative Attack

The Spear being used to dash against target dummies.
Homeward Journey gives spears the ability to perform a dash to damage enemies. The attack is performed using the 
Interact Button.
The player will dash forward in the cursor direction, dealing damage on contact with enemies and bouncing back. This can be used to travel or pogo on enemies.
Trivia
- Currently the alternative attack in combination with a
Featherfall Potion allows the player to fly by repeadetly using the dash and holding the up button. - All spears for the exception of Light Bite can be crafted.
