The full structure for the Angler Core.

The Angler Core is a Pre-Hardmode Furniture item dropped by the Zombie Merman and Wandering Eye Fish with a 50*1/2 (50%) chance. If in the player's inventory, the Goblin Tinkerer will sell the Blueprint- Beacon, showing how to build a Beacon. The Beacon requires 16 Gemspark Blocks or Rainbow Brick. The Beacon will emit two lights on each side that spin around and are the color of the Gemspark Blocks or Rainbow Brick placed around it. Additionally, it gives the player the Angler Core buff, increasing Fishing Power by 40%, decreasing the spawn rate by 20%, and granting a 25*1/4 (25%) chance (50*1/2 (50%) if with a Chum Caster) during a Blood Moon in Hardmode to spawn a Hemogoblin Shark, Blood Eel, Zombie Merman, Wandering Eye Fish, and a 10*1/10 (10%) to spawn a Dreadnautilus.
