Leaf is a pet-summoning item which summons a pet frog or toad. There are actually three different Leaf items, which have identical sprites, names, costs, and rarity, and are bought from the Star Merchant.

When playing in Journey Mode, a way to find out if the Star Merchant is offering a Leaf type that has not been obtained yet is to Research them. The tooltip will show if it has not been researched yet.
